Momentum

I was initially hired to create a video on Tommy Robinson to expose his racism and hatred, that Momentum would share on social media. This led to working on a second video on Tommy Robinson's spending, as well as several social videos on other subjects.

My brief for the first video was loosely to find footage that would show Tommy Robinson being racist. After trawling through about 20 hours of ugly rhetoric I formed a concept to take his own words where he calls for anyone to point out any instances where he's spread hate speech or racism and juxtapose those quotes with examples.

Momentum liked the concept and I edited the found footage together using their in-house style guide for social media posts to create the following short viral video.

So far the video has attracted over 2 million views, hundreds of reactions and comments and thousands of shares. The video has also been spread by political figures such as Owen Jones, leading journalists such as Mehdi Hasan and even posted within Tommy Robinson supporters' Facebook groups.
